Yikes! I don't know how I missed this giant, but there it was this morning, peeking out from under a leaf. I don't really know what to do with it. I prefer to eat them much smaller than this. I guess we'll be doing a giant zucchini casserole for dinner tonight.
oh, my goats and chickens would have a few suggestions about what to do with it, alright.
ReplyDeleteBut if it's not bitter and papery, a giant casserole sounds just fine.
I'm late piping in, but if you get another huge one, try making fried zucchini like the appetizer on menu's from so many years ago.
ReplyDeleteAlso, try growing just the yellow ones and then you can see them better. That's what someone told me.
The yellow ones are late. I've been waiting all season for them. I'll post about what all I've done with squashes in a bit.
